Happy Halloween! WOO! I personally love halloween. October in general, but Halloween is the highlight. Growing up this was hands down my mom and I’s favorite time of year. It was our tradition to watch Practical magic at least 5 times during the month. At least. Who am I kidding, we watched it all year. For those of you close to me, you know that my mom passed away when I was 12. I miss her little more every day and a little more than usual this time of year. When planning a style shoot for October I knew that incorporating her into it would be a very personal and sometimes difficult task. I was blessed with the addition of each vendor who participated. We all added a little something to the vision. Hats off to all of you guys joining me on the wild ride of my imagination. I can be known to get carried away. Leah from Floradashery was the first vendor I spoke with regarding the details of the shoot. She brought ideas by the boatload and her inspiration drove me to give everything I had to push the boundaries in making this a unique piece of art. Then along came Kelsey (By K Renee Photography) we actually watched the movie together, midnight margaritas and all, for inspiration. She made an epic video of the day that you can see at the end of this blog. These two ladies only makeup a small portion of the talent that contributed.
